Poor Philo. I saw The Farnsworth Invention this weekend. It’s a play that tells the story of Philo Farnsworth, the man who invented the first working television. Pretty phenomenal. It made me wonder what we’re on the cusp of now that is as revolutionary as scanning an electron beam, which reads the back of the oxidized potassium hydride visual screen line-by-line, and then transmits the information to the cathode tube receiver was in the 1920s.
